Thomas Baynham ('The Yeoman') (1719- )

  1. when did Thomas die?  Presumably some time after the conception of his youngest son George, who was baptised in April 1767 and/or after the burial of his wife Hester who was buried as ‘the wife of Thomas Baynham’ rather than ‘widow’ or ‘relict’.

Marshall William Baynham (1897-1963)

Recuperation –

1916 – William was wounded on 18th July 1916 at Laventie and on the same day admitted to No.95 Field Ambulance. On 21st July he was admitted to No.14 General Hospital at Wimereux (HA 1139). He returned to England from Boulogne on the Hospital Ship ‘St. Denis’.

1917 – William was wounded on 12th June 1917 and on the same day admitted to No.17 Casualty Clearing Station at Lijssenthoek. Next he was admitted to No.1 Canadian General Hospital at Etaples. On 16th June he returned to England from Calais on the Hospital Ship ‘Stad Antwerpen’.
