John Baynham (1759- )
John was born in 1759 and baptised at Aston Ingham in Herefordshire.
He married Sarah Woodward at Aston Ingham in 1789, when he was 30 and she was 19. It appears that they had no children.
John was the third child of Thomas Baynham and Hester Wellington.
He was baptised on 20th May 1759, at the church of St. John the Baptist, Aston Ingham.
He married Sarah Woodward at the same church on 5th May 1789; both of them were living in the Aston Ingham parish at the time their banns were published on Sunday 29th March, Sunday 5th April and Good Friday 10th April.
A John Baynham was buried at the church of St. Lawrence, Weston under Penyard on 12th September 1792.
A Sarah Baynham was also buried at the church of St. Lawrence, Weston under Penyard on 23rd June 1796.

Other family trees show John Baynham (born 1759) and his wife Sarah Woodward (born 1770) as the parents of my 3-times great-grandfather James Baynham, but do not offer any evidence / sources for this. The only baptism record for a James as son of John and Sarah Baynham around this time is in 1817 (at English Bicknor), by which time James was already married to Elizabeth Symonds.
