He was baptised there on 20th May 1759, at the church of St. John the Baptist.
He married Sarah Woodward at the same church on 5th May 1789; both of them were living in the Aston Ingham parish at the time their banns were published on Sunday 29th March.
Sarah had also been born at Aston Ingham, in 1770
Their only child James, my three times great-grandfather was born at Lea Bailey in 1790.
